This is the moment a CCTV camera mounted outside a man's house in Hayle apparently captures a car crashing into his parked van in the middle of the night.
Dale Jackson, 44, installed CCTV cameras on the outside of his house on St John's Street two years ago after several incidents of criminal damage in the area, he said.

Truro woman left "horrified" at illegal gas fitters sentence
A Truro woman is "horrified" at the sentence a court has given to an illegal gas fitter who could have caused her death.
Michael Rowe, of Gilbert Road, Bodmin, pleaded guilty to working without the required qualifications and putting people at risk of danger in Truro Magistrates Court on Friday.

Police want to trace these youths after items were thrown from...
POLICE want to identify these two youths after items were thrown from the Tamar bridge.
The incident took place on the evening of January 23 which saw a car parked below the bridge damaged. A window was smashed as an item fell from the bridge.
Police hope the two young men shown in these CCTV images on that evening will come forward or be identified.

A MAWNAN Smith resident is 'absolutely disgusted' after building waste has been dumped by the side of a picturesque country road.
Paul Glover said the 'cowboy flytipper' left an estimated half a tonne of roof tiles in a layby on the road between Mawnan Smith and High Cross, near Constantine.
