AN ALCOHOLIC punched his mother four times in the face after pushing her to the floor when she asked him to leave her house, despite knowing that she had recently undergone chemotherapy treatment.
Daniel Gwennap denied causing the injuries and told police his mother Linda Andrews had mental health issues – something which she does not accept – and tried to put the blame on her for the incident, Truro Crown Court heard on Monday.
