A COFFEE shop could replace Falmouth police station's front office as part of a raft of changes to local policing ahead of funding cuts.
Inspector Steve Lenney said he had been negotiating with international chain Costa Coffee among other operators since the public enquiry office was earmarked for closure next month as part of a cost-cutting review to save £760,000 each year in Devon and Cornwall.
He told a meeting of Falmouth Town Council on Monday the only way to keep the office open...
