Police are warning elderly residents of west Cornwall about a scam after a woman in her 70's was defrauded of £130,000.
Offenders posing as police have been targeting homes in Helston and west Cornwall as part of a nationwide scam known as courier fraud.
At least five residents have been targeted this week, with one elderly woman losing more than £100,000 and a couple on their 80's being defrauded of £15,000.
