POLICE have described the theft of charity boxes from a Hayle pub as "disgraceful".
The Cornish Arms, on Commercial Road, was broken into with intruders making off with two charity boxes and money from the gambling machine and pool table.
It happened between 12.30am and 8am on Monday.
PC Ian Tolchard said it was unclear if it was the work of an individual or a group of people.
