A SCHEME which reduces night-time crime in Falmouth has been given a temporary reprieve despite being shut down through lack of funds last week.
Funding for the Falmouth Taxi Marshals scheme, which reduces anti-social behaviour through security guard patrols, was withdrawn by Falmouth Town Council (FTC) last week.
It was originally intended to be a subsidised by local pub and club operators, but funding never materialised.
