A 52-YEAR-OLD Camelford man has been found guilty of assault by beating after an incident in a pub in the town.Paul Prisk, also known as Stumpy, of Victoria Road, had denied assaulting Phillip Thomas by beating, claiming he had acted in self-defence, but was convicted at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Friday.He had admitted damaging Mr Thomas's Nissan Skyline car by jumping on the roof and bonnet and damaging a police cell at Launceston custody centre by urinating on the floor.Mike Brown, for the...
