DAVID LIAM DOWLER, 24, of Penryn Street, Redruth, pleaded not guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court to assaulting Daniella Dowler on January 1 and had his case sent for trial on February 17. It was agreed that Ms Dowler would be able to give her evidence behind screens.Bail was refused and Dowler was remanded in custody.
