A ST IVES man charged with assaulting a woman by beating her at St Ives on April 13 is to stand trial at Truro Crown Court.Matthew Gordon Young, aged 27, of Nanjivey Place, St Ives, denied assaulting Natasha Osborne when he appeared before Truro magistrates, who adjourned the case to the higher court on July 3. Bail was granted on condition Young does not contact the alleged victim except for pre-arranged child contact or visit an address in Tregwary Road, St Ives.
