POLICE are appealing for information in tracing the driver of a black sports car who approached young girls in Truro. The driver approached two girls aged eight and nine in separate incidents in the city at the weekend. In the first incident on Saturday at around 4pm in the shoppers' car park in Old Bridge Street a girl aged 8 was approached by the driver of the small, black car and asked to get in. TWO children's bikes have been stolen in separate incidents in Truro. The first bike, a BMX, (pictured) was taken from a garden shed at Playing Place between 6pm on Thursday June 5 and 3pm the next day. A second bike was taken from a garage in Playing Place some time between June 1 and June 7. The bike taken was a 10-year-old's red mountain bike. A 54-YEAR-OLD was found dead after being summonsed to court to face charges of making more than 500 indecent photographs of children. Anthony Gordon Cook, was found at his house at Herniss, near Long Downs, on May 14.
