A man was thrown into a Truro waterway on a night out in the city. Police said two men carried out the attack and threw the victim into the leats on Boscawen Street. Sergeant Billy McWhirter from Truro Police said: "The male victim was pulled into one of the leats and was soaked through." The incident took place at about 11pm on April 12. Several parts of a black Ford Transit van parked in the main car park at Carn Brea Leisure Centre have been stolen between 7 and 8pm on Thursday. These parts included a chrome front grille, a Ford badge, passenger side chrome mirror cover, rear light cover and pipe rack holder. A thief escaped on foot from a jewellers in Truro with a gold neckchain in the middle of the day. The thief ran out of the shop in the city centre and sped through St Mary's Mews and towards New Bridge Street at about 1.50pm on Monday.
