Spate of burglaries of power tools in Mawnan Smith
BURGLARS have stolen machinery and fuel from outhouses and sheds in a remote village on the outskirts of Falmouth.Chainsaws, drills and other electrical tools were stolen, along with cans of fuel, from eight properties in Mawnan Smith overnight from Monday to Thursday last week.Police believe the burglaries are linked to similar incidents in parts of Truro over the same period.

Redruth man Stephen Webb admits sexual assault
A 32-YEAR-OLD Redruth man has admitted sexually assaulting a woman.
At Truro Crown Court on Friday, Stepehen Webb, of Appin Gardens, pleaded guilty to having touched a woman, aged over 16 years, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on February 2, last year.
Judge Christopher Harvey Clark, QC, ordered the preparation of a pre-sentence report into Webb's background. Webb was granted conditional bail to appear before the court for sentence on May 9.

A ZELAH couple are set to stand trial accused of income support and housing benefit fraud.
At Truro Crown Court on Friday, Russell Mark Williams, 55, and Nicola Ryan, 43, both of Chapel Crescent, pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud.
