The police have strongly denied the suggestion that members of the public could arm themselves with guns to fight suspected terrorists in Cornwall.
It follows a suggestion put to the Police and Crime commissioner for Devon and Cornwall Alison Hernandez, on how the police could respond in time to an unfolding terrorist incident, such as the recent attack in London at Borough Market.
