TWO brothers have today avoided going to prison after they were sentenced for a catalogue of neglect and suffering of animals on their farm.Thomas James Collins, 67, and Paul Anthony Collins, 50, were given jail sentences – but these were suspended for two years.They were however banned from keeping animals for at least five years and ordered to pay £24,000 in court costs.The pair, of Trenoweth Farm, Gweek, had previously been found guilty of 16 out of 17 charges of failing to care...
