A TRURO mother defrauded the state out of nearly £7,000 in benefits while her husband worked for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Charmiane Kirkpatrick, told the authorities she had split from husband Rowan Kirkpatrick on March 12, 2013, Truro Crown Court heard on Friday.
