A WOMAN is set to stand trial accused of murdering a 96-year-old woman following a fire in a Truro care home in 2008.
Karen Pedley, 41, of Park Stenak, Carharrack, Redruth, appeared at Truro Crown Court this morning via a video link from HMP Bronzefield where she was sent after being remanded in custody by magistrates last month.
The 41-year-old, who appeared on the video screen in a wheelchair, is facing one allegation of murdering Gladys Rowe on December 1 2008.
