A REPEAT offender from Falmouth risked a dangerous and devastating gas explosion when he broke into an unoccupied home in Penryn and stole copper piping, a court was told.
Keith Bowden, 51, went into Susan Ladbrooke's home on Glasney Terrace in November 2013 and stole the piping. It was only discovered when she visited the property to check on it and smelt gas, Truro Crown Court heard on Friday.
