POLICE have issued a safety message after they found drivers and passengers not wearing seatbelts during random stop checks.People in one out of every seven of the 122 cars stopped during last week's operation had failed to wear their seat belts.The five-hour stop check exercise was partly aimed at tackling the so-called 'fatal four' main causes of serious injuries and deaths on the region's roads, including failing to wear a seatbelt.
