A TRURO motorist appeared before city magistrates as a result of an anonymous tip-off to the police that he might be a drink-driver.That proved to be true when Adam Garfield Roberts, 35, of Riverside View, was tested for alcohol in his breath and registered 62mcg, nearly twice the legal limit.Roberts pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Truro on July 15, and to taking a vehicle without consent and using it without insurance and with an inappropriate licence.Gail Hawkley, for the prosecution, said...
