A REDRUTH man has denied dangerous driving and assaulting a woman by beating her.
At Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, Tony Pengelly, 28, of East Park, pleaded not guilty to having driven a Ford Ka dangerously on Plain-An-Gwarry, Redruth on July 6.
He further denied assaulting by beating Emily Johnson.
Pengelly was granted conditional bail to appear before the court for a plea and case management hearing on October 24.
