POLICE are asking shopkeepers in Redruth to be vigilant after seizing a number of fake £50 notes.Officers say the fraudsters typically use the fake notes to buy small items, usually under £10 in value, and pocket the change. So far five imitation notes have been handed in. Sargent Gavin Barnes from Camborne police station said: "If shopkeepers are offered fake notes they can contact the police on 101 and report the description of the person and their vehicle."
