AN ALCOHOLIC stabbed her friend six or seven times after an argument about a bus pass, a court has heard.
Truro Crown Court was told Dawn Swinscoe, 43, was letting Dean Brannigan stay at her home at Chapel Crescent, Zelah, at the time of the attack on January 11.
Elaine Hobson, for the prosecution, said both were alcoholics and had been drinking in Newquay when they became separated. Swinscoe got a police officer to take her home and police also brought Mr Branigan back to her address.
