NEW figures have revealed that the number of children arrested in Cornwall and Devon fell by 74 per cent between 2008 and 2013.The number of children arrested dropped from 5,495 in 2008 to 1,431 in 2013.Superintendent Toby Davies, head of criminal justice, said: "This reduction is really encouraging.
