PAINTINGS worth more than £3,000 were stolen from a Falmouth art gallery in a crime described as 'love at first sight.'
A 2.5-metre-long rolled up canvass worth £2,500 was taken from Beside the Wave art gallery on Arwennack Street along with a £750 painting.
Another canvass was also damaged in the theft, which happened during opening hours on March 18 or 19.
Staff said they were "devastated" that the theft had happened during opening hours, adding that they had scaled up...
