More than 40 firefighters from five fire stations fought a blaze in a large barn close to the A30 near Summercourt last night.
The barn, measuring 15 metres by eight metres, was well alight when crews arrived at around 8.40pm, said Cornwall Fire and Rescue.
Forty-one officers from Truro, Perranporth, St Columb, St Dennis and Newquay were despatched to the sizable blaze immediately.
