A FATHER pushed his partner during an argument over taking their children out, Truro magistrates heard.Jason Fenton, 28, of Poldark Road, Paynters Lane, Redruth, said he had been angry when he pushed Jessica Mankee so forcefully that she hit her head on a wooden toy box.Fenton pleaded guilty to assaulting her at Camborne on December 1.Paul Gallagher, for the defence, said he accepted he had used more force than he should have but was not aware Ms Mankee had hit the toy box.
