Police in Bodmin are warning vehicle owners to be vigilant after at least six cars were broken into last night.
Valuables were taken from the vehicles parked in Green Lane and Halgavor View.
Police say the thieves managed to open the doors of the cars without causing damage to the vehicles.
Item taken included a mobile phone, an I-pod, compact discs plus cash.
