A FOUR-YEAR driving ban has been imposed on a 48-year-old Looe drink-driver.John Upton, of Barbican Hill, appeared before Bodmin magistrates on Tuesday last week when he was fined £220 with £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.He pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot 406 on Barbican Road on November 15 with 93 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg.His ban will be reduced by 48 weeks if he completes an approved course.
