A BODMIN man rejected a district judge's suggestion that he ran away from police because he knew he would fail their breath test.Mark McEwan told District Judge Nick Sanders that in fact he made off because he feared the officers wanted to speak to him about some alloy wheels he had removed from a scrapped car.McEwan, 26, of Hillside Park, accepted, however, that he had failed to give a roadside sample and pleaded guilty to failing to co-operate with the preliminary breath test when he appeared...
