A woman suspected of murdering her husband is being treated for injuries in hospital.
The woman, named locally as Marion Hughes, is expected to be taken into custody on her release from hospital.
Gary Hughes, a 60-year-old GP from Feock, was found dead at his waterside home on Friday morning.
Police confirmed a 58-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.
Dr Hughes was a senior partner at Clinton Road Surgery in Redruth and his wife is also understood to be a GP.
