An elderly woman was left trapped in her car following a two vehicle collision in Lanlivet this afternoon.
The woman was in so much pain she could not move to get out of the vehicle, a representative from Devon and Cornwall Police said.
The crash, which involved a white Fiat 500 and a white Vauxhall Astra, happened on a back road near Lanhydrock at around 4pm.
Police officers and paramedics were called to the scene.
