A MAN from Long Rock has admitted falsely claiming thousands of pounds in benefits.James Berriman, of Godolphin Road, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court on April 30 to three counts of benefit fraud and one of failing to report that his partner had returned to paid employment.Berriman, 35, was handed a two-year conditional discharge after accruing extra housing and council tax payments to the tune of £4,644.74.He was also ordered to pay £150 towards Cornwall Council's...
