Police are warning people to be wary of cold callers after a number of complaints about two men offering substandard gardening services in Falmouth.
Sergeant Phil Binnie said the men were overcharging customers and in one case left without doing the work agreed yesterday.
"It is believed they were targeting elderly residents in particular, blatantly overcharging for their poor services, whilst carrying out relatively minor works," he said.
