THE theft of a handbag from a car at Mawnan Smith has led to renewed calls for people not to leave valuables in their vehicles.A rock was used to smash a rear window of the silver Peugeot which was parked at the church.The incident happened on April 2 between 1.15pm and 4.30pm.Police are appealing for anyone walking in the area who may have seen someone acting suspiciously to get in touch.Anyone with information should contact Falmouth station on 101.
